Sturt Lions Football Club, based in Adelaide, South Australia, was founded in 2003. Since then, the club has experienced significant growth and development and earned recognition within the local soccer community.
In 2017, the Sturt Lions achieved a milestone by winning the State League 1 Championship. This victory led to their promotion to the National Premier Leagues (NPL) South Australia in 2018, marking their entry into the state’s top-tier competition. The club continued its competitive performance, and in 2020, they once again secured the State League 1 Championship. This success resulted in their promotion back to the NPL in 2021.
