Important Manufactures Note: Height adjustable desks are designed to be used for computer keyboard work only they are not designed or recommended to be used as a laboratory bench for microscopes or vibrating machines or any type of manually operated press etc. The structure and design of the L or T style leg is to keep the front of the desk clear so this also means that the weight capacity for this desk has to be evenly spread across the entire desk top not concentrated into one area or placed in the middle of the desk or close to the front, We can provide stiffening rails for the desktops if needed but these are only recommended if a weight in excess of 50kg is placed into the centre of the desk and if a weight like this is going to be used on the desk we can’t guarantee the top will not bow (unless stiffening rails are used) and also because of the L or T shape leg design there is overhang to the front of the desk and if this weight is placed close to the front you will get flex and wobble in the desk this can’t be helped and that is why we do not recommend these desks for this type of use. If the desk is going to be used for anything other than computer and or keyboard work it is at the buyer or users discretion and we do not recommend it and will not cover any issues that may arise.
