The Altex 100 height adjustable desks have a stand up desk frame which features electric height adjustment, straight or corner desk styles and is available in a range of sizes and colours.
The Altex 100 easily transforms from a sitting height to a standing desk at the press of a button. If you are looking for an ergonomic sit stand desk, the Altex 100 is a fantastic choice.
Desk Tops:
All desk tops have 90 degree square corners and flat heavy duty 2mm PVC matching edges. (rounded corners can be supplied but need to be quoted) Straight tops are 1 piece & corner tops are all 2 pieces.Â
Cable Holes:
All cables holes ordered in straight desk tops as standard will be put in the centre of the desk top 80mm from the back of the desk to the centre of the cable hole, When you order 2 cable holes these will be put at either end of the top if you order 3 cable holes one will be in the centre of the top and the other 2 will be at either end of the top. If you would like custom locations for the cable holes this is not an issue please just note this in the comments section when you place your order. How is the Desk Delivered:
All desks are delivered flat packed and the easy-to-assemble instructions are below this is the only way we can offer such amazing pricing and quick delivery times. Tops are not pre-drilled so that the frame components can be positioned to suit your requirements. The screws supplied are self-taping screws so you only need a battery screw driver no drill or drill bits are needed. If you have any questions during assembly we have technicians who are more than happy to assist. The best way to assemble the desk is to put the top face down on the floor (make sure there is carpet or cardboard to protect the top) Then make the frame and screw it down to the top. Once fitted you can then roll the table over onto its legs.
If you need your desks assembled we can forward you the details of an assembler who you can arrange to do this direct once you have placed your order.
Caster Option:
Casters can be fitted to your Conset height adjustable desk this is a great option which enables your desk to be mobile and moved with ease. The casters are lockable so once positioned they can be locked and the desk will not move. The casters are 85mm high so they will add at least 85mm to the desk top height.

Important Manufactures Note: Height adjustable desks are designed to be used for computer keyboard work only they are not designed or recommended to be used as a laboratory bench for microscopes or vibrating machines or any type of manually operated press etc. The structure and design of the L or T style leg is to keep the front of the desk clear so this also means that the weight capacity for this desk has to be evenly spread across the entire desk top not concentrated into one area or placed in the middle of the desk or close to the front, We can provide stiffening rails for the desktops if needed but these are only recommended if a weight in excess of 50kg is placed into the centre of the desk and if a weight like this is going to be used on the desk we can’t guarantee the top will not bow (unless stiffening rails are used) and also because of the L or T shape leg design there is overhang to the front of the desk and if this weight is placed close to the front you will get flex and wobble in the desk this can’t be helped and that is why we do not recommend these desks for this type of use. If the desk is going to be used for anything other than computer and or keyboard work it is at the buyer or users discretion and we do not recommend it and will not cover any issues that may arise. Â

Modesty Panel:
The Modesty panel on the Conset Mimek DM15 desk range is part of the structure and joins the legs together with cams and pins form the frame. The modesty panels are made only in 2 colours.
Cable Tray:
This is a great way to keep the cables neat, tidy and out of the way, the cable tray screws straight to the bottom of the table top you will find installation instructions on how this is done in one of the below links. When you select the cable tray option 1 cable tray to suit the desk size you order will be included with the desk, if you would like more cable trays please order them separately Cable Trays (screws to attach the cable trays are not included)

Assembly:
These desks are easy to assemble but it is critical that the following points are followed, if they are not followed fully and precisely the desk could come apart over time and use and this is not covered by our warranty unless we have assembled the desk for you.
1) The drive shaft is installed correctly and the locking pin is tight so that it can’t work loose.
2) The other very important point is that all metal pins in the legs are correctly located into the cam locking devise in the modesty panel and the cam is fully locked. If the cam will not fully lock you just need to wind the pin either in or out until it lines up correctly and the cam can be locked into place.
